      HIKING  AND BIKING TRAILS
 

 

-No Boundaries.

-Includes species of Salmon, Trout and Walleye.

-Must Leave and Return from Rogers City Harbor. -All Fish Must be Weighed in at the Rogers City Harbor.

-$150.00 Entry Fee per boat. Registrations can be dropped off at Adrian's Sport Shop or Mailed to Troy Nowicki, 2980 Petersville Rd., Rogers City, MI 49779.

-Tournament Time Sept. 3rd, 5:00 a.m.-1O:OO p.m.,  Sept. 4th, 5:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

 Sept. 5th will be reserved as an alternate date in case of inclement weather.

-All weather warnings issued by the U.S. Coast Guard will be honored and after a total of three hours of fishing time(not necessary to be consecutive hours) the tournament will be official.

-Inclement weather will be defined as the posting of a "Small Craft Warning" by the Coast Guard.

-Weigh Biggest 3 Fish Per Day, 6 Fish Total For 2 Days -
In the case of Lake Trout over 32" in length, only ONE will be counted towards the total weight. This being the result of the MI DNRE's Lake Trout Regulations for the Rogers City area. 

 Weigh In to begin at 9:00 p.m. Sat., must be in harbor by 10:00 p.m. to have fish weighed.
Sun. Weigh In to begin at 1 :00 p.m., must be in harbor by 2:00 p.m.

-Each boat entered and all crew aboard, upon registering to compete in the Fat Hogs Fishing Frenzy,  agrees to hold the organizers, sponsors, their agents, assignees or employees harmless and blameless  from any and all liability of any kind for all injuries, damages, loss of life, disfigurement, dismemberment  and pain and suffering by any crewmember aboard a registered boat during the entire period the Frenzy is being  held. All crewmembers agree to be held strictly liable for any liability arising from this tournament.

-All Frenzy participants are expected to follow Michigan DNR rules and regulations.

Frenzy officials reserve the right to disqualify any participant or boat for unsportsmanlike behavior.

·No boat may come into contact with another boat.

·No boat may come into contact with the shore.

-Contact with either during fishing hours will result in disqualification unless determined as an emergency by Frenzy organizers.

-Boats may come and go from the harbor during fishing hours as they please.

 ALL PAYOUTS ARE BASED ON 90% OF ALL BOATS ENTERED, SUBJECT TO CHANGE MORE OR LESS

 REGISTER BEFORE AUG. 29th AND GET ENTERED FOR LARGEST SALMON PER DAY Ist_$150 2ND-$50 AND TWO MYSTERY FISH WEIGHT $100 EACH.
MAIL IN ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY AUG. 30th TO BE ENTERED FOR LARGEST SALMON PER DAY AND MYSTERY WEIGHT FISH. IN CASE OF A TIE, MONEY WILL BE SPLIT BETWEEN PARTIES.

"BLIND BOAT PARTNER CHALLENGE"
GET IN AT THE CAPTAINS MEETING FOR $25 PER BOAT. WILL BE A BLIND PARTNER DRAW WITH THE TOP TEAM TAKING ALL.

Cash prizes also to be awarded for larges Lake Trout of the weekend, largewt Brown Trout of the weekend, largest Steelhead of the weekend and largest Walleye of the weekend. 

 No Bitch Clause!!!! If you complain about how the tournament is being run or how it is not being run to any member of the committee or representative, you will be kicked out of the tournament and not allowed to participate in the future. PERIOD.
